Leave No Trace Camping
It is so important to educate new campers to experience nature in a way that is socially and environmentally sustainable, as well as making sure that they have all the safety information that they need to come home in one piece!
I have written for a wide range of camping and outdoors publications. These include Lonely Planet, Play Iceland, Trail and Summit, 10 Adventures and The Camper Lifestyle.

When studying at the University of Leeds, I worked as an outdoor activity leader for the Get Out Get Active program. I organised and facilitated hiking, kayaking, climbing and cycling adventures for students. (1 year contract).
I have spent three straight months Wild Camping in the highlands and uninhabited islands of Scotland. I have also cycled packed from Leeds, England to Berlin, Germany.
More recently, I converted a Peugeot Boxer into a completely off grid camping van with my husband, which we have lived in for long periods whilst slowly travelling through the National Parks of Europe. I regularly enjoy thru-hiking, wild swimming, and forest bathing.
